ยกโทษให้ผู้อื่น

 

และท่านจงเมตตาต่อกันมีใจเอ็นดูต่อกันและอภัยโทษให้กันเหมือนดังที่พระเจ้าได้ทรงโปรดอภัยโทษให้แก่ท่านในพระคริสต์นั้น.. " (อฟ. 4:32 AMP).

 

ในฐานะที่เราเป็นสาวกของพระเยซู ลักษณะของชีวิตของเราก็ควรจะสะท้อนพระลักษณะของพระเยซูด้วย เราควรเป็นคนที่มีน้ำใจต่อคนอื่น ใจดีและอดทนต่อคนอื่น เข้าใจและรักคนอื่น มากไปกว่านั้น เราควรจะให้อภัยคนอื่นในแบบที่พระเยซูทรงให้อภัยแก่เรา หรือกว่าได้ว่า เราให้อภัยอย่างไม่มีเงื่อนไข หลายครั้งที่คนเราไม่ให้อภัย นอกจากว่าคนที่ทำผิดต่อเราจะมาขอโทษก่อน หรือที่ไม่ให้อภัยเพราะว่าคนเราคิดว่า คนนั้นมันสมควรโดนลงโทษแล้ว แต่ทว่าความจริงก็คือ คนที่ถูกทำให้เจ็บที่สุดเพราะว่าเราไม่ยอมให้อภัยนั้นก็ก็คือตัวเราเอง เมื่อเราไม่ยอมให้อภัย เราก็ไม่อาจจะได้รับการอภัยจากพระเจ้า และเราก็ติดอยู่ในความเจ็บปวดและมีบาดแผลในใจ อย่าคิดที่จะไม่ให้อภัยอีกต่อไปเลย การให้อภัยนั้นเริ่มต้นที่การที่เราเชื่อฟังพระเจ้า เมื่อเราเปิดใจของเราออกเพื่อให้อภัย เราก็เปิดในของเราต่อพระเจ้าที่จะทรงเข้ามารักษาเราและฟื้นฟูเราขึ้นมาใหม่ ให้เราตัดสินใจในวันนี้ที่จะให้อภัยคนอื่น อย่างไม่มีเงื่อนไข แบบที่พระเจ้ายกโทษให้เราทางพระเยซู

พระบิดาเจ้า ลูกขอบคุณที่ทรงสร้างชีวิตลุกและทำให้ลูกเป็นเหมือนพระองค์มากขึ้น ลูกขอพระเจ้าเข้ามาทำงานในชีวิตของลูกในทุกๆด้าน ลูกขอเลือกที่จะให้อภัยเหมือนที่พระองค์ให้อภัยลูก ลูกขอสรรเสริญพระองค์ ในพระนามพระเยซู เอเมน

And become useful and helpful and kind to one another, tenderhearted, (compassionate, understanding, loving-hearted), forgiving one another (readily and freely) as God in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:32 AMP).

 

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

 

As followers of Christ, our character should mirror His character. We should be helpful to one another, kind and tender toward one another, understanding and loving. Most of all, we should be extending forgiveness to one another in the same way that Christ extends forgiveness toward us. In other words, forgive unconditionally. Many times, people won't forgive until the other person says they are sorry. Or, they won't forgive because they think somehow they are punishing the other person or giving them what they deserve. But the only person that is hurt by your unforgiveness is you. When you hold unforgiveness, you can't be forgiven by God, and you are the one locked up in the hurt and pain. Don't hold unforgiveness any longer! Forgiveness simply begins with a choice to obey God's command. When you open your heart to forgiveness, you open your heart to God's healing and restoration in your life. Make the choice today to forgive others—readily and freely—as God in Christ forgave you!

 

A Prayer for Today

 

Heavenly Father, thank You for shaping my character and making me more like You. I invite You to work in every area of my life. I choose to forgive just as You have forgiven me. I bless Your holy name today. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

เงยหน้ามองขึ้น

 

"ข้าพเจ้าเงยหน้าดูภูเขาความอุปถัมภ์ของข้าพเจ้ามาจากไหน..    ความอุปถัมภ์ของข้าพเจ้ามาจากพระเจ้าผู้ทรงสร้างฟ้าสวรรค์และแผ่นดินโลก.. " (สดด. 121:1-2).

 

เรามองอะไรอยู่ในตอนนี้ มีสิ่งใดที่ท้าทายเราให้เราไปพิชิตหรือเปล่า แต่ว่าอย่ามองแต่ปัญหา ทั้งวันทั้งคืน ให้เราเงยหน้ามองขึ้น อมองไปที่สวรรค์ รู้ไหมว่าเรามักจะเดินไปในทางที่ตาของเรากำลังมองดูอยู่ ถ้าเราเอาแต่มองที่ปัญหา-เอาแต่คิดถึงมัน โทษตัวเอง และเที่ยวไปบอกใครต่อใครถึงปัญหาของเรามากเกินไป เราก็เหมือนกำลังถูกมันกลืนกินอยู่ แต่ว่าเมื่อเราเงยหน้ามองขึ้น ชีวิตของเราก็จะเลื่อนขึ้นขึ้นไป เมื่อเรามองดูที่พระเยซู นั่นแสดงถึงความเชื่อและความไว้วางใจของเรา พระคัมภีร์บอกเราว่า ความเชื่อนั้นเคลื่อนมือของพระเจ้า เมื่อเรามีทัศนคติแห่งความเชื่อและความไว้วางใจ เราก็เปิดประตูให้พระเจ้าเข้ามาทำงานในชีวิตของเรา ให้เราตัดสินใจที่จะจดจ่ออยู่ที่ความดีงามของพระเจ้าของเรา เงยหน้าของเราขึ้นและยกใจของเราต่อพระเจ้าและสรรเสริญพระองค์ด้วยปากของเรา เมื่อเราเงบหน้าขึ้น ความช่วยเลหลือจะมา และทำให้เราก้าวเดินต่อไปในชีวิตแห่งชัยชนะที่พระเจ้ามีไว้ให้เรา

I will lift up my eyes to the hills, from where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Maker of heaven and earth" (Psalm 121:1-2).

What are you looking at today? Are there challenges in your life to overcome? Don't just look at your problems day in and day out, lift up your eyes and look toward heaven. You will naturally move in the direction that your eyes are looking. If you are always looking at your problems—meditating on them, feeling sorry for yourself, telling everybody about them—you will become consumed by them. But when you look up, your life will start to move up. When you keep your eyes on Jesus, it is also a sign of your faith and expectancy. The Bible tells us that faith is what moves the hand of God. When you have an attitude of faith and expectancy, you open the door for His power in your life. Decide today to focus on the goodness of our God. Lift your eyes and heart to Him and begin to praise Him with your words. As you lift your eyes, your help will come, and you will live the victorious life He has in store for you!

Heavenly Father, today I choose to lift my eyes to You. I will look to You for my help. Thank You for showing me Your salvation and deliverance. I bless You today in Jesus' Name. Amen.

"เหตุฉะนั้นเราบอกท่านว่า ความผิดบาปของนางซึ่งมีมากได้โปรดยกเสียแล้ว  เพราะนางรักมาก  แต่ผู้ที่ได้รับการยกโทษน้อย  ผู้นั้นก็รักน้อย"  (ลก. 7:47 AMP).

 

เราเคยรู้ไหมว่าการให้อภัยเปิดประตูให้ความรักเข้ามาทำงานในชีวิตของเรา พระธรรมตอนนี้พูดถึงเรื่องของผู้หญิงคนนึงกับโถน้ำหอมของเธอซึ่งมีราคาแพงมาก เธอเป็นคนบาปและเมื่อเธอพบพระเยซู เธอก็ก้มลงที่พระบาทพระเยซูและเริ่มล้างเท้าพระองค์ด้วยน้ำตาและเช็ดด้วยเส้นผมของเธอ เมื่อเธอได้รับการอภัยบาปจากพระเยซู ความรักก็เข้าไปทำงานอย่างอัตโนมัติ เธอได้รับการอภัยมากดังนั้น ความรักของเธอจึงมาก เราต้องการมีความรักในชีวิตเราแค่ไหน หากต้องการอย่างมาก หรือว่าต้องการรับรู้ความรักของพระเจ้ามากขึ้นและมีความสัมพันธ์กับคนอื่นๆดีขึ้น ในเราเปิดใจและรับการให้อภัย ให้เรายอมรับการให้อภัยจากพระเยซูและส่งต่อไปยังคนอื่นๆ เมื่อเราได้รับการอภัยมาก เราก็จะรักมาก และเมื่อความรักขอพงระเยซูไหลผ่านชีวิตของเรา เราจะได้รับกำลังจากพระเจ้าและเดินในชีวิตแห่งชัยชนะที่พระเจ้ามีไว้ให้เรา

Love Much

"Therefore I tell you, her sins, many [as they are], are forgiven her—because she has loved much. But he who is forgiven little loves little" (Luke 7:47 AMP).

 

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

 

Did you know that forgiveness opens the door for love to operate in your life? This verse is talking about the story of the woman with the alabaster box of costly perfume. She was a notorious sinner in her day and when she saw Jesus, she fell at His feet and began washing them with her tears and drying them with her hair. When she received Christ's forgiveness, love was the automatic response. She was forgiven of much and her love was extravagant. Do you want more love in your life? Do you want to feel more of God's love and have stronger relationships with the people around you? Open your heart to forgiveness. Receive Christ's forgiveness and extend it to others. When you are forgiven much, you will love much. And as Christ's love flows through you, you will be empowered by His strength and live the abundant life He has in store for you!

Heavenly Father, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for Your forgiveness which opens the door for Your love to flow through me. Help me to be Your light and Your example of love to those around me today. In Jesus

สันติสุขอันยิ่งใหญ่-Great Peace

สันติสุขอันยิ่งใหญ่

 

"บุคคลเหล่านั้นที่รักพระธรรมของพระองค์มีสันติภาพใหญ่ยิ่งไม่มีสิ่งใดกระทำให้เขาสะดุดได้.. " (สดด. 119:165 NIV).

 

พระเจ้าไม่เพียงต้องการให้เรามีสันติสุขธรรมดา แต่ว่าพระเจ้ายังต้องการให้เรามีสันติสุขอันยิ่งใหญ่ เมื่อเรารักพระบัญญัติของพระเจ้า ไม่มีอะไรที่จะให้เราสะดุดได้และเราก็จะมีสันติสุขอันยิ่งใหญ่ สันติสุจอันยิ่งใหญ่ทำให้เรามีความชื่นชมยินดีแม้ว่าในตอนที่เราไม่รู้สึกว่ามีความสุขเลยก็ตาม สิ่งนี้มันเกินความเข้าใจของเรา สันติสุขอันยิ่งใหญ่ทำให้เราเป็นคนที่นิ่งและมั่นคงและเข้มแข็ง ทนต่อทุกสิ่งที่เข้ามาท้าทายในชีวิตของเรา ให้เราตัดสินใจที่จะตั้งใจต่อพระคำของพระเจ้าตั้งแต่วันนี้และในทุกๆวัน เมื่อเรามีวินัยในตัวเองในการศึกษาพระคำของพระเจ้า เราจะอยากรู้พระคำนั้นมากขึ้นๆ และความรักในพระบัญญัติของพระเจ้าจะเกิดขึ้นในใจของเราโดยอัตโนมัติ ในพระธรรม สดุดี  119:105 บอกเราว่า พระคำของพระเจ้าเป็นโคมส่องเท้าของเราและให้แสงสว่างแก่หนทางของเรา นั่นหมายความว่าพระเจ้าทรงนำหน้าเรา พระคำของพระเจ้าปกป้องเราไว้ เราสามรถจะพบสันติสุขและความปลอดภัย มั่นคงในพระคำของพระเจ้า โดยการที่เรารู้ว่าพระเจ้าทรงสัตย์ซื่อและอนาคตของเราจะดีแน่นอน ให้เราตัดสินใจเลือกเอาพระคำของพระเจ้าในวันนี้ และเราจะได้รับสันติสุขอันยิ่งใหญ่และมีชีวิตในพระพรของพระเจ้าที่ทรงจัดเตรียมไว้ให้เรา

"Great Peace have they who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble" (Psalm 119:165 NIV).

 

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

 

God not only wants to give you peace, He wants to give you great peace! When you love the law of the Lord, nothing can make you stumble, and you will have great peace. Great peace gives you joy when it doesn't make sense for you to be happy. It passes understanding. Great peace keeps you stable and strong no matter what may come against you. Make the decision to focus your attention on God's Word today and everyday. As you discipline yourself in the scriptures, you will hunger more for God's Word, and that love for His law will naturally develop. Psalm 119:105 says that His Word is a lamp to our feet and light to our path. That means God's Word directs us. God's Word protects us. You can find peace and security in His Word, knowing that He is faithful and your future is sure! Choose His Word today, and you will have great peace and live the life of blessing God has in store for you!

 

A Prayer for Today

 

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word that gives me peace. I choose to focus on Your Word today so that You can protect me and guide me. I give You praise today for working in my life. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

" เหตุฉะนั้นเมื่อท่านได้รับพระเยซูคริสตเจ้าแล้วฉันใดจงปฏิบัติพระองค์ด้วยฉันนั้น..  จงหยั่งรากและก่อร่างสร้างขึ้นในพระองค์และมั่นคงอยู่ในความเชื่อตามที่ท่านได้รับคำสั่งสอนมาแล้วและจงบริบูรณ์ด้วยการขอบพระคุณ.. " (คส. 2:6-7 NIV).

 

ชีวิตของเราบริบูรณ์ด้วยการขอบพระคุณไหม? เราได้ให้คำขอบคุณแก่ใครที่อยู่รอบข้างเราบ้างหรือเปล่า? อย่าแค่คิดขอบคุณในใจแต่ว่า สำแดงมันออกมาด้วย อย่าให้น้ำใจที่คนอื่นยื่นให้เราไม่ได้รับการตอบสนอง บางทีหากเราสนิทกับใครเราก็ไม่ได้คิดอะไรมากเวลาที่คนเหล่านั้นให้สิ่งดีๆกับเรา แต่ว่าคนเหล่านี้สมควรได้รับคำขอบคุณจากเรา ครอบครัวของเรา เพ่อเรา คนที่เรารักและสนับสนุนเราเสมอมา คนเหล่านี้แหละที่เราควรขอบคุณเค้าจริงๆ ให้เราสังเกตุพระธรรมในวันนี้ที่บอกเราว่าหยั่งราก(ดำเนินชีวิต) ในพระคริสต์และก่อร่างสร้างขึ้นในพระองค์ เมื่อเราสร้างชีวิตขึ้นด้วยการศึกษาพระคำและอธิษฐานในพระวิญยาณ แล้วส่วนที่สองในพระธรรมตอนนี้จะเกิดกับเราแบบอัตโนมัติ เราจะมีความเชื่อที่มั่นคงมากขึ้น ใจเราก็เต็มไปด้วยการขอบพระคุณ ให้เราลองก้าวออกมาด้วยความเชื่อและเริ่มที่จะขอบคุณแก่ทุกๆคน ให้เราหว่านเมล็ดแห่งความดีงามและพระพร และเมื่อเราทำอย่างนั้น เราก็กำลังก้าวไปในการเก็บเกี่ยวที่มากมายและมีชีวิตที่ครบบริบูรณ์ที่พระเจ้าทรงเตรียมไว้ให้เรา

Overflow with Thankfulness

 

Today's Scripture

 

"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness" (Colossians 2:6-7 NIV).

 

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

 

Are you overflowing with thankfulness? Is your thankfulness spilling out on to the people around you? Don't just think your thanks, show it! Don't let the kindness of others go unnoticed. Sometimes it's easy to take for granted the people who are closest to us, but those are the people we should thank the most. Your family, your friends, the ones who love and support you are the ones who should feel your thankfulness the most. And notice this verse says to live in Christ and be built up in Him. When you build yourself up by studying the Word and praying in the Spirit, then the second part of the verse will just come naturally—you will be strengthened in your faith, and your heart will be filled with thankfulness. Take a step of faith today and begin to show your thankfulness to those around you. Let it overflow on to the people around you. Sow seeds of gratitude and blessing. As you do, you will reap an abundant harvest in return and live the life God has planned for you today!

 

A Prayer for Today

 

Heavenly Father, thank You for strengthening me with Your faith and love today. Help me to be a blessing to those around me and give me creative ways to let my life overflow with thankfulness. I bless You today. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

พระองค์ฟื้นจิตใจของเรา

"พระเจ้าทรงเลี้ยงดูข้าพเจ้าดุจเลี้ยงแกะข้าพเจ้าจะไม่ขัดสน..   พระองค์ทรงกระทำให้ข้าพเจ้านอนลงที่ทุ่งหญ้าเขียวสดพระองค์ทรงนำข้าพเจ้าไปริมน้ำแดนสงบ..  ทรงฟื้นจิตวิญญาณของข้าพเจ้า.. (สดด. 23:1-3).

พระเจ้าทรงต้องการที่จะฟื้นจิตใจของเรา จิตใจของเราคือความคิดของเรา ความตั้งใจของเราและอารมณ์ของเรา เรามี 3 ส่วนในชีวิต 1. จิตวิญญาณ-ซึ่งเป็นส่วนที่จะอยู่ตลอดไป 2.จิตใจของเรา และ3.ร่างกายของเรา ซึ่ง 2 ส่วนเป็นชีวิตของเราในขณะที่เราอยู่ในโลก จิตใจของเป็นจุดที่ศัตรูต้องการทำให้บาดเจ็บและดึงเรากลับไปทางเดิม จิตใจเป็นส่วนที่เราเก็บความเจ็บปวดในอดีตเอาไว้ เมื่อพระเจ้าทรงฟื้นใจของเรา พระองค์นำการรักษามาเยียวยาความเจ็บปวดเหล่านั้น พระเจ้าทำให้เราหายดี สมบูรณ์อีกครั้ง พระเจ้าต้องการให้เราดีขึ้นมากกว่าก่อน ภาพในพระธรรมตอนนี้ช่างสวยงามมากเป็นสิ่งที่บอกเราว่าพระเจ้าทรงนำเราไปริมน้ำสงบ ทำให้เรานอนลงในทุ่งหญ้าเขียวสด เป็นภาพแห่งการพักผ่อน เมื่อเราพักผ่อนในพระเจ้า พระเจ้าจะทรงสามารถทำงานในชีวิตของเราได้ พระเจ้าจะทรงนำการฟื้นใจมาให้ อย่าปล่อยให้ความรีบร้อน ยุ่งวุ่นวายในชีวิตทำให้เราต้องทำอะไรๆตลอดเวลาและไม่มีโอกาสหยุดและพักผ่อน ให้เราใช้เวลาที่จะยืนนิ่งอยู่ต่อหน้าพระเจ้าและภาวนาพระธรรมของพระองค์ เมื่อเราเช่นนั้น พระเจ้าจะทรงฟื้นใจเราและรักษาใจเรา และเราจะได้รับชีวิตแห่งชัยชนะที่พระเจ้ามีไว้ให้เรา

พระเจ้า ลูกขอบคุณที่ทรงให้ลูกได้สรรเสริญพระองค์อีกวันหนึ่ง ขอบคุณที่แผนการของพระองค์นำลูกไปสู่การพักสงบเพอื่ที่พระองค์จะได้ฟื้นใจของลูก ลูกยอมนำความเจ็บปวดมาให้พระองค์จัดการ โปรดเปิดใจลูกเพื่อรับการรักษาของพระองค์ในทุกด้านของชีวิต ในพระนามพระเยซู เอเมน

He Restores Your Soul

Today's Scripture

"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul…" (Psalm 23:1-3).

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

God wants to restore your soul! Your soul is your mind, your will, and your emotions. You are a three-part being: you have a spirit—that's the part of you that lives for eternity, you have a soul, and you have your body while you're here on earth. Your soul is where the enemy tries to wound you and hold you back. Your soul is where you may have brokenness from the past, or hurts and disappointments. When God restores your soul, He brings His healing power to those broken places. He makes you whole again. And when God restores you, He makes you better off than you were before! I love the picture painted in this verse. Notice that He leads us beside quiet waters. He makes us lie down in green pastures. This is a picture of rest. When we are resting in Him, He is able to do a work in our lives. He is able to bring that restoration. Don't let the busyness of life keep you going so fast that you don't stop and rest. Take time to be still before the Lord and meditate on His Word. As you do, He will restore and heal your soul, and you will live the life of victory God has planned for you!

A Prayer for Today

Father God, thank You for another day to praise You. Thank You for Your plan to lead me into rest so that You can restore my soul. I surrender my brokenness to You and open my heart to receive Your healing in every area of my life today. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

รู้จักพระเมตตาของพระเจ้า

“…พระกรุณาคุณของพระเจ้านั้นมุ่งที่จะชักนำท่านให้กลับใจใหม่.. ” (รม. 2:4)

มีสิ่งใดไหมที่นำเราห่างจากพระเจ้า มีอะไรที่ขัดขวางเราให้ไม่สามารถเข้าหาพระองค์ได้ โดยทั่วไปแล้ว เมื่อเราทำผิดต่อใครเราจะเลี่ยงจะเผชิญหน้ากับเค้า และเรามักจะทำอย่างนั้นกับพระเจ้าในแบบที่เราทำกับคนอื่นเช่นกัน แต่ว่าพระเจ้าไม่เป็นอย่างนั้น พระเจ้ารอเราอยู่ ทรงมีอ้อมกอดที่อบอุ่นพร้อมต้อนรับเราเสมอ ไม่ว่าเราเป็นใคร จะผ่านอะไรมา ทำอะไรผิดมาก่อน แต่รู้เถอะว่าพระคุณของพระเจ้ามุ่งชักนำให้เรากลับใจ พระเจ้าทรงยืนรอเราด้วยอ้อมกอดที่อบอุ่น พระเจ้าทรงต้องการให้เราผ่านพ้นอุปสรรคไปได้ พระเจ้าไม่ต้องการให้มีอะไรขัดขวางความสัมพันธ์ที่เราจะมีต่อพระองค์ อย่าให้การฟ้องผิดทำให้เราออกห่างจากพระเจ้า ให้เรารู้จักพระคุณของพระองค์ในวันนี้ มีประสบการณ์กับความดีเลิศของพระเจ้า วางใจในพระองค์ พระเจ้าทรงสัญญาแล้วว่าจะไม่ละทิ้งเราเลยให้เราหันกลับไปหาพระองค์ และให้พระองค์เทความรักลงมาบนเรา แล้วเราจะได้รับกำลังและฤทธิ์เดชเพื่อการดำเนินชีวิตแห่งชัยชนะที่พระองค์มีไว้ให้เรา

Know His Kindness

“…God’s kindness leads you toward repentance.” (Romans 2:4)

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

Is there anything in your life that is keeping you from God? Is there anything that is blocking your relationship with Him? In the natural, when we’ve wronged someone, sometimes it’s easier to avoid them than to face potential rejection. It’s easy to look at God the way we view other people. But God isn’t like that. He’s waiting for you with open arms. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you’ve done; know that His kindness leads you to repentance. God is standing there with open arms. He wants to help you get passed that obstacle. He doesn’t want there to be anything in the way of your relationship with Him. Don’t let condemnation keep you from going to God. Know His kindness today. Experience His goodness. Trust His faithfulness. He’s promised He’ll never leave you nor forsake you. Turn to Him today and let Him pour His oving kindness out upon you today. As you experience His kindness, you’ll be empowered and strengthened to live the good life that God has planned for you!

A Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me today. Thank You for Your Kindness. I come to You and repent of any sin that would block our relationship today. Help me be more like You. I bless You today. In Jesus Name’. Amen.

Deep Waters

Today's Scripture

“The purposes of a man’s heart are deep waters, but a man of understanding draws them out.” (Proverbs 20:5 NIV).

Did you know that you are equipped with everything you need to fulfill your passion and purpose in this life? Everything you need is on the inside of you—like deep waters. You draw those deep things out when you stay open and humble before the Lord. You draw those things out when you are submitted to His Word. That’s what makes you a person of understanding. You are a person of understanding when you draw on the strength of God inside of you. Proverbs also tells us that a person of understanding delights in wisdom. A person of understanding is even-tempered. A person of understanding is not easily led astray and maintains peace and order. (Prov. 10:23; 15:21; 17:27; 28:2) Don’t just live on the surface of life today. Draw from the resources that God has placed on the inside of you. As you keep your heart open by obeying the Word of God, His purposes will become clearer, and you will live in the abundant life God has in store for you!

A Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father, thank You for equipping me with everything I need to be a success in life. I choose to humbly submit to You and obey Your Word so that I can be a person of understanding. Thank You for revealing Your plans and purposes for me today. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Keep No Record

“…Love keeps no record of wrong done to it” (I Corinthians 13:5).

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

The Bible says that God is love. He doesn’t just have love, He is love. The love we have is an extension of Him. When you invite Jesus to be the Lord of your life, the Bible says that He actually makes His home in your heart. Think about that for a minute. The Creator of the universe, who cannot be contained by anything, chose to make His home on the inside of your heart. That means that perfect love is on the inside of you. When you cooperate with God and submit your will to His, you are allowing His perfect love to flow through you. First Corinthians 13 tells us what that looks like. When we are walking in God’s love, we are patient. We are kind. Verse 5 says that love keeps no record of wrong. That’s simply forgiveness. Love always forgives. That doesn’t mean that the other person was right, it only means that you are choosing to let go of the bitterness, hurt, and anger. If you have a mental list of all the people who have hurt or offended you, let it go today. Cooperate with God and let His love work through you. As you do, you’ll see His power flow through you, and you’ll experience the life of victory God has promised!

Heavenly Father, thank You for loving and setting me free. Thank You for choosing to live on the inside of my heart. Show me if I am holding on to unforgiveness in any area so that I can forgive and walk in peace and victory today. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Develop Your Gift

Today's Scripture

“Do not neglect the gift of God within you…” (I Timothy 4:14).

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

You are created and designed for a specific purpose. God has placed gifts inside of you to equip you to fulfill your purpose. Do you know what those gifts are? What are you passionate about? What can you do better than other people? What would you choose to do if there were no obstacles? God wants you to develop and pursue the gift inside of you. Your gift is a part of your destiny. But the gifts God gives aren’t just for us. He gives us gifts to help build the kingdom of God. You have a specific role to play in the body of Christ. That doesn’t mean God’s going to send you to a third world country or make you preach. But, there are people only you can reach. Are you using your gift to build the kingdom? Are you serving in your local church? Even if you are still discovering what your gifts are, you can simply take a step and volunteer. Everyone has something to give. You can give a smile, a handshake, or an encouraging word. As you step out and serve others, you’ll see the gift inside of you begin to grow, and you’ll move forward into the destiny God has in store for you!

A Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father, thank You for equipping me to fulfill my destiny. Thank You for walking with me and guiding me. Show me ways to develop what You have given me so that I can build Your kingdom in the earth. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

When Jesus walked the earth, He was on a mission. Not only did He come to die on the cross and save us from our sins, He had a mission to set people free from every kind of brokenness and oppression. He was anointed, or empowered by God, to fulfill His mission. Notice it doesn’t say that He went around doing good to some people, or healing some people. No. It says that He went around doing good and healing all. That was His mission, and He is still fulfilling that mission in the earth today. When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, the Bible says that you become an ambassador of His. That means you are His representative. As His representative, you have access to the same power and authority that He has. You are empowered, or anointed, to fulfill His mission in the earth. You are anointed to do good and heal those who are oppressed by the enemy. Is there someone in your life who needs a touch from God today? You are His hands and feet. You are anointed to do good. You are anointed to pray for the sick. As you reach out to others and allow God to use you, you will see His power flow through you, and you will live the life of victory God has in store for you!

A Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father, thank You for choosing me. Thank You for doing good in my life and setting me free! Show me how I can be an instrument of Your goodness and healing to those around me today. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Do you ever feel like every time you try to move forward in something, you hit a roadblock? Something happens that throws you off course. Be encouraged today because right now in your life, God is going before you. He’s preparing a way. He’s making your crooked places straight. He’s making your rough places smooth. You may be going through a difficult time right now, but it’s not the end. It’s only the beginning. God has equipped you for this journey. You may feel like you’re in a dry season, but don’t look at your circumstances. Look at the promise of God today! If you’ll keep speaking words of faith, God promises that He’ll anoint your head with oil and your cup will run over. That means you’ll be refreshed and anointed to do what He’s called you to do. God is preparing your path and equipping you for the journey. What do you need today to keep moving forward? Start by checking your attitude. Don’t go around complaining and focused on the negative side of things. Put on an attitude of praise and thanksgiving. Thank Him for making your crooked places straight! As you do, you’ll move forward in joy and gladness in the blessed future He has prepared for you!

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

The Scripture says that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. We are commanded to honor the Lord with our bodies. How do you do that? You take care of it. You respect it. You treat it as valuable. You use your body to bring Him glory. When you stand strong against temptation, you are honoring the Lord with your body. When you take care of yourself by eating properly and getting enough sleep, you are honoring the Lord with your body. You are saying, “Lord, thank You for this gift of life. I am choosing to take care of myself so that I can serve You with my whole heart, mind, and strength.” As we enter into this holiday season, remember to honor the Lord by taking care of your body. Enjoy the treasures of the season, but don’t allow the hustle and bustle of the season to rob you from simply enjoying the blessing of your friends, family, and loved ones. As you honor the Lord with your body, you will be strengthened and empowered by His peace. You’ll be able to stand against temptation and walk in love this holiday season and all the days of your life!

Dear Father in Heaven, today I choose to honor You with my body. Thank You for the gift of life. Thank You for empowering me against temptation. Show me Your plan for me today so that I can honor You in everything I do. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

พระเจ้าทรงต้องการให้เราเติบโตขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง เลื่อนขั้นในชีวิตของเราไปเรื่อยๆ แต่ว่าการที่เราไปสูงเท่าไรในชีวิตและ การที่เรามีประสบการณ์กับพระพรและความโปรดปรานของพระเจ้าเท่าไร จะเป็นสิ่งที่ทำให้เราเชื่อฟังพระคำของพระเจ้ามากเท่านั้น ยิ่งเราเชื่อฟังการเตือนของพระเจ้ามากเท่าไร พระพรและความโปรดประทานที่เราจะได้รับก็มาก ดูซิเมื่อใดที่เราต้องตัดสินใจทำในสิ่งที่เราไม่ควรทำ มันจะเกิดความกระวนกระวายในใจของเรา นั่นเพราะว่าพระเจ้าทรงต้องการนำและชี้ทางให้เรา ถ้าเราเพิกเฉยต่อการเตือนของพระวิญญาณ ใจของเราจะแข็งมากขึ้น และจะทำให้เราฟังเสียงของพระเจ้ายากขึ้น แต่วิธีแก้คือเรายอมจำนนต่อพระเจ้า กลับมาถ่อมใจเชื่อฟังพระเจ้า แล้วในตลอดชีวิต พระเจ้าจะจัดการกับสถานการณ์ที่ยากๆ ในชีวิตของเรา พระเจ้าทรงรู้ว่าอะไรที่ถ่วงรั้งเราอยู่ และพระเจ้าทรงต้องการให้เราเคลื่อนไปข้างหน้า พระเจ้ารู้ว่าเราจะไม่สบายใจเมื่อต้องเจอสถานการณ์อะไร และพระเจ้าต้องการเสริมกำลังให้เรสามารถจัดการกับสิ่งนั้นได้ ให้เราฟังเสียงพระองค์ และอย่ายอมให้ใจของเราแข็งและดื้อรั้น และเมื่อเรายอมให้พระเจ้าทำงานในชีวิตของเราแล้ว พระเจ้าจะยกเราสูงขึ้นๆและเราจะได้รับความโปรดปรานและพระพรของพระเจ้าที่ทรงเตรียมไว้ ให้เราแล้ว

Do Not Harden Your Heart

God desires that you continually rise to new levels. But how high you go in life and how much of God’s favor and blessing you experience is directly related to how obedient you are to His Word. The more obedient you are to His promptings, the more favor and blessing you’ll walk in. When you’re about to make a decision that you shouldn’t, there’s an uneasiness right down inside. That’s God trying to lead and guide you. If you ignore these promptings of His Spirit, your heart becomes hard. It becomes more difficult to hear His voice until we submit ourselves to Him again in humble obedience. Throughout life, God will deal with different areas in your life. He knows what’s holding you back, and He wants to see you move forward. He knows what areas you aren’t comfortable facing, and He wants to strengthen you to deal with those things. Listen to His voice, and don’t allow your heart to be hardened. As you allow Him to work in your life, He will take you to higher levels, and you will walk in the favor and blessing He has prepared for you!

Heavenly Father, thank You for leading and guiding me. Thank You for taking me higher into new places of favor and blessing. Help me to hear Your voice more clearly so that I will honor You today and always. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Watch What You Watch

“I will set no base or wicked thing before my eyes” (Psalm 101:3 AMP).

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

In this Psalm, David was determined to honor the Lord with his mind. David knew that what he watched with his eyes would affect his thinking. If he didn’t guard his mind by choosing carefully what he looked at, he would be drawn to do things that weren’t pleasing to the Lord. The same is true for us today. If we are watching things on TV or reading things in books or magazines that aren’t pleasing to the Lord, we are opening a door to the enemy. If we continue to look upon things that aren’t pleasing to the Lord, a stronghold is built in our thinking. We become enslaved to those thoughts. But thank God for the blood of Jesus that has the power to break those strongholds! If you are struggling with thoughts that you don’t want in your mind anymore, today, you can be free. First of all, receive the Lord’s forgiveness and make the choice to change what you are looking at. Let the Lord wash you clean and strengthen you by His Spirit. Focus your mind and thoughts on His Word and do not let any wicked thing before your eyes. As you determine to watch what you watch, you will be empowered by His Spirit and walk in the abundant life God has in store for you!

Heavenly Father, today I choose to honor You with my mind. I choose to guard my eyes and not watch anything that isn’t pleasing to You. I ask that You set me free of every stronghold in my thinking so that I can live in peace and joy all the days of my life. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Bring Out the Best

“Love is kind” (I Corinthians 13:4)

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

One translation of this simple verse says that, “Love looks for a way to be constructive.” In other words, love looks for ways to improve someone else’s life. Love brings out the best in other people. Don’t just get up in the morning thinking about yourself or how you can make your own life better. Think about how you can make someone else’s life better. Ask yourself, “Who can I encourage today?” “Who can I build up?” You have something to offer those around you that no one else can give. Someone in your life needs your encouragement. Someone in your life needs to know that you believe in them. I believe God will hold us responsible for the people He’s put in our lives. He’s counting on us to bring out the best in our family and friends. Are you improving the lives of those around you? Are you giving them confidence? Ask the Lord to give you creative ways to encourage those around you. As you sow seeds of encouragement and bring out the best in others, God will send people along your path that will build you up so that you can move forward into the blessing He has in store for you.

Father God, thank You for loving me. Thank You for believing in me and always building me up. I ask that You show me creative ways to encourage and build up the people around me. Help me be an example Your love today and always. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

ความเป็นผู้ใหญ่ฝ่ายวิญญาณไม่ได้วัดด้วยว่าเราเป็นคริสเตียนมานานแค่ไหน หรือว่าเรารู้มากแค่ไหน หรือว่าเราไปโบสถ์มากแค่ไหน ความเติบโตฝ่ายวิญญาณวัดที่วิธีที่เราปฏิบัตต่อผู้อื่น มันวัดด้วยความรักที่เรายอให้เกิดขึ้นในใจของเรา ในพรธรรม 1 โครินทร์บอกเราว่า ลักษณะหนึ่งของความรักคือไม่หยาบคาย คือบอกว่าเมื่อเราเดินในความรัก เราก้ฏิบัติต่อผู้อื่นด้วยมารยาทและความเคารพ แล้วเรามีมารยาทกับคนอื่นหรือเปล่า เราใจดีกับคนที่เค้าทำให้เราเสียเวลาได้ไหม เราสุภาพเวลาที่ขับรถไหมเวลาที่ใครปาดหน้าเรา เราอดทนกับครอยครัวหรือเพื่อนร่วมงานของเราไหม นี่แหละเป็นลักษณะของความรัก พระคัมภีร์บอกเราว่าความรักนั้นอดทน กระทำคุณให้ ไม่อิจฉา ไม่อวดตัว ไม่หยาบคาย ไม่ฉุนเฉียว ไม่จดจำความผิด รักไม่มีวันสูญสิ้น ดูซีไม่มีอะไรที่บ่งบอกถึงความรู้สึกเลย เพระาว่า รักนั้นเป็นทางเลือก เราเลือกจะรักคนอื่นแม้ว่าเรารู้สึกไม่ชอบ ให้เราตัดสินใจเลือกทำสิ่งที่ถูก เลือกที่จะสำแดงความเมตตาและมีมารยาทกับคนอื่น มองหาทางที่จะปลูกสิ่งที่ดีที่สุดในชีวิตของเรา คือ ความรักนั่นเอง และเราจะไปข้างหน้าต่อไปในชีวิตแห่งพระพรที่พระเจ้าทรงมีไว้ให้เรา

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

Spiritual maturity isn’t measured by how long you’ve been a Christian, or how much you know, or how often you go to church. Spiritual maturity is measured by the way you treat other people. It’s measured by the love you allow to operate in you. Corinthians tells us that one characteristic of love is that it is not rude. That means, when we are walking in love, we treat other people with courtesy and respect. Are you courteous to other people? Are you kind to the person at the check-out counter that may be moving too slowly for you? Are you gentle when you are driving down the highway and someone cuts you off? Are you patient with your family and coworkers? These are all characteristics of love. The Bible tells us that love is patient. It is kind. It does not envy; it is not proud. It is not rude. Love is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrong. Love never fails. Notice that these characteristics don’t have anything to do with feelings. Love is a choice. You can choose to walk in love toward people even when you don’t feel like it! Make the choice to do what is right. Choose today to show kindness and be courteous to others. Look for ways to cultivate the greatest thing in your life—love! As you do, you’ll move forward into the life of blessing God has in store for you!

A Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father, thank You for working in my life. Thank You for loving me so that I can show love to those around me. Keep me close to You, and help me be an instrument of love to those around me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

แสวงหาความภักดี

“บุคคลผู้ตามติดความชอบธรรมและความเอ็นดูจะพบชีวิตและความชอบธรรมกับเกียรติยศ.. ” (สภษ. 21:21 NASB).

เราเคยสังเกตุไหมว่าความภักดีกับความชอบธรรมจะไปด้วยกัน หรือพูดได้ว่าหากเราไม่ภักดีต่อครอบครัว ของเรา เพื่อนของเรา ประเทศของเรา งานอจงเรา นั่นแสดงว่าเรายังไม่มีประสบการณืกับพระเจ้าอย่างที่ดีที่สุด คนที่ภักดีเป็นคนที่มีเกียรติ เมื่อเราภักดี เราก็คิดถึงบางคนด้วยความคิด เมื่อเราภักดีเราก็รักษาคำพูด แม้ว่าเราต้องเสียเปรียบ คนที่ภักดีนั้นให้ความเคารพประเทศและผู้นำของเค้า คนภักดีให้เกียรติพ่อแม่และปกป้องครอบครัวของเค้า เมื่อเราภักดีเราก็เป็นคนที่ซื่อสัตย์ ทำให้คนอื่นไว้วางใจเรา แล้วเราสามารถจะมีความภักดีมากขึ้นได้ไหม เราจะสัตย์ซื่อต่อสิ่งที่เราบอกว่าเราจะทำได้ไหม อย่าให้อะไรพรากเราไปจากการที่แสวงหาความภักดี ให้มองหาทางที่จะแสดงความภักดีของเรากับคนอื่นๆ แล้วมีอะไรที่เราจะได้เพื่อแสงดความรักแก่คนอื่นไหม นั่นก็คือการที่ภักดีต่อเค้า เมื่อเราแสวงหาความภักีดและความชอบธรรมแล้ว เราจะพบชีวิตที่ครบบริบูรณ์ที่พระเจ้าเตรียมไว้ให้เรา

พระบิดาเจ้า ลูกขอบคุณที่ทรงสัญญาว่าจะให้ชีวิตลูก โปรดให้ลูกสามาถจะภักดีได้มากขึ้น โปรดช่วยลูกด้วยพระวิญญาณของพระองค์ ให้ลูกสัตย์ซื่อมากขึ้น และ เป็นคนหนุนใจคนรอบข้างลุก ให้แสงของพระองค์ฉายออกมาผ่านลูกเมื่อลูกแสวงหาความชอบธรรมและความภักดี ในพระนามพระเยซู เอเมน

Pursue Loyalty

“He who pursues righteousness and loyalty finds life” (Proverbs 21:21 NASB).

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

Have you ever noticed that righteousness and loyalty go together? In other words, if we’re not being loyal—to our family, friends, country, job—then we aren’t going to experience God’s best. Loyal people are honorable people. When you’re loyal, you stick with someone through think and thin. When you’re loyal, you keep your word to people—even if you get a “better” offer. Loyal people are respectful of their country and leaders. Loyal people honor their parents and defend their family. When you’re loyal, you are a person of integrity. You build trust with others. Is this an area where you can rise higher? Can you be more loyal? Are you faithful in the things you’re committed to? Don’t let the distractions of every day life keep you from pursuing loyalty. Look for ways to show your loyalty to those around you. Is there something you can set aside for the sake of a loved one? Show that love by staying loyal. As you pursue loyalty and righteousness, just as this verse promises—you will find that abundant life the Lord has planned for you!

A Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father, thank You for the promise of life in Your Word. Show me any area where I can rise up higher in pursuing loyalty. Help me, by Your Spirit, to be more faithful and supportive to those around me. Let Your light shine through me as I pursue righteousness and loyalty today. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
